Growing up in my family, my mother has always made it clear to me how important women's reproductive rights are in society. Roe v. Wade made it possible for women to have a voice we never got to express before. My support is with Planned Parenthood. The services you offer help so many women and there isn't a soul on earth who can change my mind. Keep doing what you've been doing. You have my support, and I may be one person, but here in Oregon, The Planned Parenthood is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you again for all that you do. Your blog has made me think of what I can do to help the PP in my community, just 5 minutes from my house. It is a PP Express, so no abortions are done there. We don't have protesters all the time, so I don't know what I could do there. Any ideas? I'd really like to show PP my support.

i'm especially proud to see that TAMU logo on her sweat shirt. i attended college there, and my goodness are there some extremists! PP has my full support, whether it be bryan/college station, texas; or up here in washington state where we currently reside.

I agree that protesters hurt more than they help. If these people really wanted to get a message out about abortion, why don't they act like they are compassionate humans and volunteer at an adoption agency or something? Acting on fear (which is what terrorists do!) is completely non productive-except it motivates people like me to donate my pocket change for each one that shows up. =) I LOVE PP!

I agree with what you said about skewed facts. A fellow clinic defender (!) said that the anti's were just another point of view and I can't disagree with that more. The anti's deliberately use manipulation to get women to "choose" the way that the anti's want them to choose. This is fundamentally different than PP's position of supporting the woman to make a high-quality decision. The anti's deliberately advance poor decision quality.
